Dr Saroja Rai

Meet Dr Saroja Rai

BDS (DU, ADC Victoria), BSc (ACU)

Saroja’s friendly face has been part of Neutral Bay Dental Surgery since 2016 when she joined us soon after arriving in Australia from Nepal. She is qualified as a dentist in both Australia and Nepal as well as being a registered nurse. We are delighted to have her join our growing team of dental clinicians.

Saroja practised as a dentist in Kathmandu, Nepal prior to coming to Australia and gained broad experience working in both private practice and a large teaching hospital.  Whilst there she also organised, and was a part of, numerous outreach programmes providing dental services to rural people in South Asia.

Saroja performs all aspects of general and preventive dentistry for the whole family. She has a special interest in caring for the dental health of our older patients having worked as a registered nurse in several aged care facilities. She understands all too well the importance of maintaining a healthy mouth as we age.

Saroja has a kind and gentle nature making her an empathetic and caring practitioner and she is committed to providing quality, ethical dentistry for all her patients.

Saroja is a new mother and, when the scrubs are off, she likes to bask in the sun with her young daughter Saige and her cat Bageera.

Saroja looks forward to welcoming you to Neutral Bay Dental Surgery.
